We are members of the San Diego Better Business Bureau and our
overriding commitment to our guest's enjoyment has been honed
over the past two decades through our own stays at dozens of
vacation properties.
We saw what worked and what didn't. We noticed straight-forward,
simple ways in which the owner could have improved our
guest experience and most importantly we learned what really
mattered to us as guests.
Eight Summers ago we began renting out our San Diego home, Villa
del Sol, to a delightful British family for the Summer. This family and
others who followed told us that they enjoyed the time of their lives at
Villa del Sol--and they proved their satisfaction by calling us back to
book again.
Soon, our friends and neighbors took notice of the care and the
attention that we showered on every rental group. Seeing
our absolute commitment, our neighbors asked us if we could assist
them booking their multi-million dollar properties.
We found that a multitude of things, big and small, factor into whether
each group enjoys the vacation of their lives.
We are family owned and operated. We strive to know our customers
better than large impersonal companies (you are familiar with these
rental companies as the pick-up-the-key-management-office rental
companies).
We thrive on our repeat guests that come back to stay with us year
after year. We survive and flourish on word-of mouth referrals by our
past guests.
We consistently over-deliver on the hallmarks of that make small
businesses great: service and value to our guests.

| What Our Guests Are Saying . . . . Bill Hutchings from London, England "Thank you very much for a wonderful week spent at Villa Adair. It was a truly memorable stay and our only regret is that we could not stay longer. It was our first time to San Diego so we did not know the area, but could not have been happier with the location. As the say in the UK, Sunset Cliffs Drive "does exactly what it says on the tin". The whole house frontage has an uninterupted view of the ocean, and the large, brand new deck provided the ideal setting from which we could watch the glorious sunsets every evening. Ocean Beach has a lovely laid-back feel to it, much less "resorty" than some of the other places we saw in Mission/Pacific Beach, yet still very close to all the main attractions. The house itself was really well equiped, with an attention to detail that made a real difference, particularly when traveling with young children. There were lots of toys and games for all ages, more towels/linen that the average hotel and, for the avid chef, a great selection of high quality cookware (and even sharp knives - a real rarity in vacation rentals!). The house is very well proportioned, with masses of natural light from a double/triple height ceiling in the main living room and windows to catch all day sun. Joseph was very helpful at every stage, and all the booking/handover arrangements were very efficient. In short, we would happily recommend Villa Adair to any other family and would certainly book again ourselves the next time we're in San Diego" |

The house was even better than we imagined and truly became our home in San Diego. What a great location! Working with you prior to arriving was a pleasure. You must have been ready to scream with all of my calls, emails special requestrs, etc. You handled then all so graciously. The [free] upgrade to Villa Adair was perfect. Julia was very informative and helpful with the check-in process and so willing to answer the tons of questions and go the extrea mile to help. The change out of the refrigerator was smooth and so quick. Thanks again for all of the nice touches, responsiveness to our requests and even delivering the boarding passesses for David and Shannon. We will definittely recommend you to friends planning trips to San Diego. Also please convey our thanks to the owners for the welcome basket. We enjoyed bike rides, the boogie boards and beach equipment. Our stay at Villa Del Agua was wonderful. The responsiveness of the custumer service was excellent and helped make our reunion a big sucess. The home is comfortable and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the back yard and watching the sunsets over the ocean just out the front porch. The people in the neighborhoods were all very friendly and the house location is convenient to all the attractions in San Diego, yet far enough away from the traffic, noise and congestion of other areas in San Diego. | P. Lopez from Visalia, California "We enjoyed our stay at Villa Mar Vista very much. We held a family reunion there to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday, and the whole time was relaxed and fun. Of course the location right above the ocean was marvelous. We were able to walk around and explore, or just sit in the living room and enjoy the view. It reminded me of being on a cruise ship. One family member from Georgia loved watching the sunset from the jacuzzi spa! One important factor in making our visit so comfortable were the amenities of the home. We had plenty of towels and extra bedding, as well as everything we could need as far as kitchen appliances, utensils and serving dishes. There was lots of storage too. The layout made it conducive to lots of socializing with the family - some in the living room or kitchen, others at the patio tables, and some on the chaises around the jacuzzi. We had two toddlers with us, who were in their glory running around the huge park-like back yard. The home even had high chairs, booster chairs, portacribs and toys for them! Because I like to prepare ahead, I took information about the area, and locations of the nearest supermarkets. That was not necessary because Julia had all that information ready for us when we arrived. My family continually complimented me on the great choice I had made in selecting Villa Mar Vista. I had considered many other rentals before choosing this one, but quite frankly, I did not anticipate that we would be so comfortable in the home that we hardly wanted to leave it. It is the perfect place to use as a base for exploring the area, or for simply staying at "home" and relaxing. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. |
| J. Kingston from Austrailia "I rented Villa Adair with a group of Austrailian colleagues to accommodate us during a conference. The house was perfect for our large group. The rooms were spacious and the house was very well-equipped, especially the kitchen! The hot tub also was great for relaxing in the cool of the San Diego evening. We were also pleased that Villa Adair was centrally located, only 15 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from Seaworld and a short walk away from Ocean Beach for dining and entertainment. The clifftop views were also amazing. The balcony area was large and comfortable and great for watching some perfect sunsets! Overall I was very pleased with the quality and service provided by Joseph and certainly will be back in the future. Thanks for such a great stay! |

First of all, thank you for offering us these villas when our other accommodations fell through. The view at the villas is marvelous. And the villas are nicely furnished. The kitchens are well equipped, the beds very comfortable. Thank you for all the stuff you brought us. We used most of the chairs, grandchildren took bike rides, and the great- grand daughters loved playing with your sand toys. The arerobeds and extra bedding were a big help those 3 or 4 nights when everyone was there. Our families had a wonderful time, both as two separate family reunions and merging so the two families got to know each other. The week exceeded our expectations in every way." |
What our Guests say about the Beachfront Villas T. Mancey from the United Kingdom Hi Joseph, Just wanted to say a BIG THANKYOU! For all your help before, during and after our trip to LA. It was a long awaited holiday with 5 of the 6 offspring and although they ranged from 2 to 25 everyone had a fantastic time. This was largely due to the location and accommodation. Both of the beech villas we stayed in (Villa C at the beginning and villa B at the end of our holiday) had ample room for all of us, beds were comfy and plenty of hot water! There was everything we needed to make the villas our home from home, including the sand truck and buckets for the youngest (well everyone had a go!) which was just perfect. The location meant easy trips to the shops and sightseeing and so easy for the teenagers to ‘do their own thing’. Seal Beach Main Street has lovely shops and restaurants, and everyone was so friendly. The views from the villas were great especially the view from the master bedroom in villa B.
